Role Overview:
The purpose of this role is to develop sourcing plans for Procurement’s lifecycle regionally / globally, aligning with business objectives and best practices. The role involves reviewing strategic supplier relationships, supporting team members, and contributing to the team's foundational knowledge development.  

Key Responsibilities:

·         Partner effectively with all internal stakeholders of the procurement department.  

·         Supervise, coach and support team members to improve efficiency and accuracy.  

·         Assess and analyze spend and operations from acquired companies, recommending alignment with best practices.  

·         Influence cross-functional category teams, stay abreast of industry knowledge, and integrate feedback to meet business goals.  

·         Evaluate supplier performance through spend and savings data analysis to identify trends and gaps.  

·         Manage key suppliers: appropriate evaluation, selection, and governance to ensure service quality and commercial value.  

·         Conduct regular reviews with suppliers to ensure terms are met and address issues promptly.  

·         Adhere to standard policies, procedures, and best practices for efficient operation and compliance.  

Qualifications:

·         Experience managing external suppliers with increasing responsibility.  

·         Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, identify improvement opportunities, and manage external vendor relationships.  

·         Deliver activities to maximize savings, minimize risk, and optimize service quality from suppliers.
