SOL Edu is headquartered in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. However, we have expanded our business operation globally by establishing five physical offshore offices in Bangkok (Thailand), Thimphu (Bhutan), Seoul (Korea), Auckland (New Zealand), Christchurch (New Zealand), Taipei (Taiwan) and Jarkata (Indonesia). The offshore offices allow us to enhance the SOL Edu brand name in these promising markets and help us directly provide education and visa services to offshore students.

Education Counsellor (Thai or Mandarin Speakers)

About the duties 

Promote SOL partnered institutions and their courses to international students in an ethical and professional manner;

Communicate to understand students’ needs and develop suitable study plans that meet their academic records, English level and needs;

Counsel and collaborate effectively with students and their parents to finalise their course selection;

Prepare student’s application/enrolment documents properly;  

Process students’ application in a timely and proper manner;

Maintain comprehensive records and documentation in accordance with the SOL Edu system;  

Collaborate well with admissions team to facilitate admissions processes for students;  

Assist in organising events/exhibitions and other promotional activities; 

Attend professional training activities orgasnised by the company;

Other tasks as directed. 

About you  

Graduate from higher education courses at Australian universities, or proven equivalent work experience;

Have work rights in Australia;

Education Counselling experience is preferred but not compulsory;

Passion for customer service;

Good interpersonal and negotiation skills;

Willingness to help students at all times;

Understand and value the multicultural working environment.

About the duties 

Advising and Counselling

Provide personalized counselling to students regarding their educational and career goals.

Help students understand the available academic programs, courses, and institutions.

Communicate to understand students’ needs and develop suitable study plans that meet their academic records, English level and needs

Promote SOL partnered institutions and their courses to international students in an ethical and professional manner

Counsel and collaborate effectively with students and their parents to finalise their course selection

Admissions Assistance

Assist students in completing application forms and necessary documentation for universities or colleges.

Prepare student’s application/enrolment documents properly

Process students’ application in a timely and proper manner

Maintain comprehensive records and documentation in accordance with the SOL Edu system

Collaborate well with admissions team to facilitate admissions processes for students 

Visa and Immigration Support

Guide students through the visa application process and ensure they understand the requirements.

Provide information on immigration policies, procedures, and regulations.

Assist in preparing and submitting visa documents, including financial statements and sponsorship letters.

Social Media Content Creation and Planning

Develop a content calendar with a focus on relevant topics for prospective students (study tips, visa updates, student life, etc.)

Create engaging posts (text, images, videos) for social media platforms.

Write and design student success stories, testimonials, and other inspirational content.

Plan and execute campaigns to promote educational services and events.

Communication and Relationship Building

Maintain regular communication with students through various channels, including in-person meetings, phone calls, and emails.

Establish and maintain relationships with educational institutions, visa offices, and other relevant stakeholder.

About you

Graduate from higher education courses

2+ years of experience in Australian Education and Migration industry is required

Exceptional time management and prioritisation skills, ensuring deadlines are consistently met

Ability to manage your work independently and responsively, without physical supervision from a team leader

Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills

Passion for customer service

Willingness to help students at all times

Other requirements

Proficiency in both English and Filipino

Marketing Officer Position (English and Hindi)

About the position

Conduct research to understand the market, partner institutions and their education product

Stay updated on the latest marketing trends specific to India market

Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data from various sources (e.g., social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)

Generate ideas and write the articles for the company’s websites, social media platforms or relevant marketing channels

Propose innovative ideas to improve the team’s sales performance

Plan and organise promotional events as well as traditional/digital campaigns

Design marketing materials that align with the purposes and target audience of marketing campaigns

Prepare and submit regular marketing reports to your team leader and manager to keep them informed about the ideas, progress and outcomes of marketing initiatives.

Establish and maintain the marketing and customer database for India team

Collaborate with Education Counsellors to build up the student network, recruit Indian students and promptly address their inquiries

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Conduct SEO audits and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies.

Optimise website content for relevant keywords, meta descriptions, and internal linking to improve organic search rankings.

Generate ideas and create landing pages and blog posts to improve the company’s website

Monitor and report on website traffic, user behaviour, and site performance.

Video

Generate ideas and create videos for social media platforms

Other tasks as directed.

About you

Graduates or currently attending higher education courses at Australian universities (Bachelor/Master level), major in Marketing/ Advertising/ Media and Communication OR proven equivalent work experience or overseas qualifications

Experience in marketing

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in both English and Hindi.

Proficiency in online marketing across various platforms

Candidates with designing and video editing skills are highly encouraged

Proficiency in WordPress skills

Time management

Ability to work under pressure
