Today, DBeaver is the leading provider of cross-platform enterprise data and database software, and we’re seeking a talented UX Designer to help shape the way our users interact with our DBeaver desktop products. This isn’t about polishing pixels or producing marketing visuals. It’s about deeply understanding user workflows, considering product scenarios, and embedding UX best practices into our engineering processes.

Location: This role can be based remotely in Europe, or hybrid in our offices in Belgrade, Serbia, or Budapest, Hungary.

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct an audit of our products – identify pain points, assess user feedback, and      help identify influential features updates for the roadmap

• Advocate for the user perspective and influence decisions to make DBeaver easier to      use without sacrificing way people love it

• Work   closely with engineers to integrate UX improvements into the product      development lifecycle 

• Develop   prototypes to illustrate UX recommendations and guide implementation

• Help  modernize the overall product experience, while respecting existing      workflows and long-time users

• (Bonus) Contribute ideas and improvements to support product accessibility

What You Bring: 

• Proven      UX design experience with complex, feature-rich software (ideally desktop      applications, IDEs, developer tools, or other enterprise/professional      products)

• Strong      skills in prototyping to communicate and validate UX ideas

• Experience      working closely with engineering teams to plan and implement UX features

• Comfort      aligning UX process into existing workflows and goals – you know how to      bring structure and advocate for change

• Strong      cross-functional collaboration skills, and comfort working in a      fast-moving product team

• Knowledge      of English (B2 level)

Bonus Skills:

• Familiarity with database tools, IDEs, or similar technical products.

• Experience with accessibility in software products.
